My journey back to film after 20 year hiatus began with the Chinese New Year Parade in NYC last year. Ashamedly I only just developed the film and was so overwhelmed on how good the success rate was, esp as I never shot a full manual old skool camera before, and it had a busted light meter and then throw in some old age eyesight lol. I totally understand the attraction to this, the thrill of it all… now to shoot more and develop sooner. I guess my belated 2020 resolution ha! Enjoy a handful of my favorites, was hard to pick. (FTR - I didn’t tinker with the scans). I used Portra 400 and Ektar 100 in a Nikon F2 camera, and help of myLightMeter App. 2.17.19
